Why do some companies struggle to get reasonable adjustments right, while others thrive?

Providing a policy and telling employees or prospective applicants that you ‘provide reasonable adjustments’’ isn’t going to have the impact you’re looking for. For many people, disability is still an uncomfortable word, and conversations can be hard to start - and what does your company mean by ‘reasonable’?

What I can provide

You don’t have to start from scratch, and don’t worry, getting it right isn’t as hard as it looks.

  • Reviews of your reasonable adjustment policies or mapping out what a policy for your organisation should look like.

  • Management training for your senior leadership team to understand reasonable adjustments in your organisation.

  • Training for your employees on how to ask for reasonable adjustments.

World-leading research driven.

All of my advice and recommendations are built from a decade long career in people and operational management, lived experience of disability, and world-leading research into reasonable adjustment best practices.

“Just a quick note to say I was really pleased to be able to attend the reasonable adjustments session and I thought it was excellent. Rachael’s content was clear, relevant and actionable and the questions at the end highlighted how much people had engaged with and valued the session. Well done!”
